The Tri-State Quality Review Rubric

The Tri-State Quality Review Rubric is a really powerful tool for helping teachers and PLC Teams self assess the quality of their lessons and units of instruction against a state wide rubric. Adopted by New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the Tri-State Rubric provides educators with a criterion referenced method of determining how effectively we are integrating the CCSS into our planning and pedagogy.

We will be using this rubric in three department meetings throughout the year to self and peer assess lessons as a means of understanding where we align well with the CCSS expectations and where we still need to grow and focus our PD.
